Jodee Kozlak is a global executive with deep expertise in business, leadership and organizational talent strategies. She formed Kozlak Capital Partners for private investments and to work closely with Boards and CEOs on their most pressing strategic issues. Jodee joined Alibaba Group in February 2016, in a newly established role on its leadership team. As its first Global SVP of HR, Jodee set worldwide talent and capability strategies into motion to drive Alibaba’s growth agenda outside of China, both organically and through M&A activity. Previously, Jodee was EVP and CHRO at Target Corporation, working closely with its Board and spanning three CEOs. There, she comprehensively set the strategy for a global workforce of over 350,000 team members during an era of unprecedented profitable growth for the company and strong employee engagement for the team. During her 15 year Target career, Jodee held other key leadership roles including General Counsel for the International Owned Brands business, General Counsel for Labor and Employment, and Trustee of the Target Foundation.
Jodee was a Partner in the litigation boutique firm Greene Espel, PLLP, focusing on complex business litigation and executive compensation matters, and a Senior Associate at the international law firm Oppenheimer Wolf & Donnelly. She started her career in the Audit department of Arthur Andersen & Co. Jodee serves on the boards of CHRobinson Worldwide, Aspen Dental, Talent Sky, and formerly Park Nicollet Health Services. Jodee is an advisory board member to the Center of Longevity at Stanford University, Past President of the Guthrie Theater Board and former board member to the Carlson Business School at the University of Minnesota.
